Prayer Power affects abortion Outcomes

In this blog I (we) will share real life stories, useful information and helpful suggestions that can be used for sidewalk counselling at abortion clinics, at home, at work with friends or with someone near and dear to you. It should not hurt to give loving advice or to care for someone's life now or in the future.

First a story:
Sat 2/7/09 at the Womancare abortion clinic (wcac) there were about ten prayer warriors praying for an end to abortion. They are considered prayer warriors because they have been showing up on a regular basics for the last 15 years or so.
There is an interesting thing about prayer power.
As a materialist, one can easily say: you can't see prayer or feel it, so how can you tell if prayer power really exist and make things happen? Well here's one case of the effects of prayer power, that was relayed to me by a women that had contemplated getting an abortion.

One evening while on a late shift (about 9pm) during a 40 day for life (40DFL) vigil at an abortion mill, a lady and her son came up to us, very cautiously. She said, "you folks look cold out here, so my son and I want to stop by and talk to you. Do you mind if we pray with you also?" We told her she could can join us. We prayed for several minutes. Then she said, " twelve years ago I was in this abortion mill. While on the table, to have an abortion, I had this strong urge that I was doing the wrong thing. So, I jumped off the table and told the doctor that I was not going to have an abortion, and I left that place as quick as possible."
I asked her why did she change her mind and left the place? She said there was a nagging thought and feeling she was doing the wrong thing by having an abortion. And this 12 year old child with me now is God's precious gift to me. I cannot imagine my life without him. He even wanted to be baptised, on his own, at eight years old. He's been a blessing to me since he was born. I am very thankful that this child was not aborted. And I'm very thankful that you people are out here praying for us misguided women." (Prayer power works.)
This was news to the boy standing there with us. His eyes got as big as sauces and became filled with water. Mother and son hugged each other warmly and long, with tears flowing.
There had been no pray warriors outside at that time, but they had been there earlier in the day and in the week praying for potential abortees. We'd like to think that we are doing God's work: we are in sales (we pray, talk and fast) and God is in management (He calls, selects and guides).
So you see, you can do something for saving babies in a non-violent way.
We would like you in front of abortion mills praying for misguided women, going to kill their babies. If you can't pray in front of abortion mills, stop by, if you see us outside praying and give us your blessing, pray as you drive by, pray at home or in church. And remember, Our Lord said, "whenever there are two or three together in My Name, there I am in your midst".

We are so grateful that you stop by when we are praying. That let's us know that you are with us and encouraging us to continue.
